Brandon Jamaal Stroud, a native of Fountain Inn, South Carolina, studied at the University of South Carolina Upstate where they obtained a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies. Their journey led them to the Warner Graduate School of Education and Human Development at the University of Rochester where they received an M.S. in Higher Education – Student Affairs. Brandon is employed at the Rochester Institute of Technology in the Center of Residence Life as a Residential Coordinator. A thoughtful soul and self entitled “spiritual influencer” Brandon also owns B.Yoself Yoga and Wellness, a non-profit traveling yoga studio project that seeks to connect yoga with marginalized and minoritized bodies. Brandon is a new age freedom fighter that hopes to continue providing spaces for others to exist and be themselves in.
